  • Skin Care with Hemp: That's why your skin will love CBD

Skin Care with Hemp: That's why your skin will love CBD By CBDNOL GmbH

You want to improve your skin appearance? CBD and hemp cosmetics can do wonders - and solve even stubborn skin problems quickly and effectively. But how does hemp and the contained CBD work? What makes hemp so valuable for a healthy and vital skin? In this article are the answers. Here are 5 reasons why your skin will love hemp and CBD.
    Natural and sustainable
Did you know that most cosmetics are based on petroleum and contain mineral oils? Whether cream, shampoo or shower gel: the skin can not absorb the oil. Instead, the oil clogs our pores, deprives the skin of oxygen and leads to impurities. When showering, the oil then ends up in the drain and presents the environment with problems - it is not biodegradable.
CBD and hemp cosmetics is 100% natural. Instead of using fossil fuels, the products are based on one of the most sustainable plants in the world - for example, hemp requires 10 to 14 times less water than cotton. The CBD creams and hemp oils provide your skin with valuable ingredients and protect the environment.
    Anti-inflammatory effect
Whether acne, eczema or psoriasis: CBD oil and hemp cosmetics can cure inflammation and skin diseases. This is mainly because CBD can regulate the sebaceous gland function of the skin - as a Hungarian study in "The Journal of Clinical Investigation" found out. In addition, CBD contains anti-inflammatory gamma-linolenic acid (GLA).
    Valuable antioxidants
Oxidation is the process of aging. This chemical process causes apples to turn brown and metal rust - and over time, the same thing happens to our skin. The antioxidants contained in hemp oil and CBD cosmetics counteract this process. They protect the skin cells, slow down the cell death of the skin and make you look younger.
Thank you for the hemp, the next time you are asked for your ID card when buying alcohol!
    Vitamin D source
Vitamin D is indispensable for our body. Since the sun is our largest source of vitamin D, many people suffer from vitamin D deficiency, especially in winter. This weakens the immune system, can lead to bone damage and increase the risk of bone loss.
Hemp is the only (known) plant source for vitamin D. Vitamin D improves the absorption of calcium and calcium strengthens bones, muscles and overall health. In addition, vitamin D and calcium bring dry skin into balance and ensure a soft, even and healthy complexion.
    Important fatty acids
CBD creams, oils and hemp cosmetics have an ideal 3: 1 ratio of omega fatty acids. The essential fatty acids in hemp are similar to the natural fats (lipids) of the skin - the best conditions for a gentle and sustainable skin care.
Therefore, our skin can absorb the fatty acids of CBD and hemp cosmetics quickly and down to the deepest layers of the skin. This not only makes your skin soft and shiny, but also your hair.
    "Okay, I'm convinced!"
... no, wait! Hemp offers you so much more! For example, a natural UV protection. It contains all the essential amino acids, allows ideal nail care and provides everything your skin needs - Vitamin A and Vitamin E3; Vitamin B1, B3, B5 and B9; Chlorophyll, copper-iron, magnesium, phospholipids, phosphorus, phytosterols, potassium, sulfur and zinc.

There are no chemical formulas and no other plant sources that can compete with hemp. The next time you take care of your skin, look for CBD and hemp cosmetics. Your skin will love it!

  • CBD Oil: Effect, Ingredients and Studies

CBD Oil: Effect, Ingredients and Studies By CBDNOL GmbH

What's up with the hype about CBD oil? In this article we explain how CBD works, why it is so valuable to the human body - and what science says. Have fun while reading!

    How does CBD work?
CBD stimulates the endocannabinoid (ECS) system in the human body. Although not fully explored, this system is considered to be the most vital and comprehensive system for our physical and mental well-being. The ECS controls, for example, our brain functions, our hormone system and the immune tissue. American researchers discovered the endocannabinoid system only in the 90s!
The ECS includes the receptors CB1 and CB2. These receptors are u.a. in the brain, spleen, tonsils and immune cells. When you consume CBD oil, the cannabinoids dock on the receptors and affect the basic functions of the human body - for example, mood, appetite, sleep and pain sensation. Due to its antioxidant properties, CBD can also capture free radicals in the body and prevent oxidative stress. This slows down the aging process of the body.
Important: Unlike THC, CBD is not psychoactive! It is legally available, does not put you in a state of intoxication and is considered a dietary supplement in Germany.
    What's in the CBD oil?
CBD Oil offers many valuable ingredients that support vital body functions:
    cannabinoids
Cannabinoids are the most important ingredients in CBD oil. As described earlier, you interact with the CB1 and CB2 receptors in the body, affecting the brain and nervous system, for example. In addition to CBD CBD oil also offers the cannabinoids CBC, CBDA, CBG or CBN.
    Gamma-linolenic acid
Gamma-linolenic acid has anti-inflammatory, blood pressure regulating and wound healing. Especially for people with skin diseases such as atopic dermatitis or psoriasis, gamma-linolenic acid is important.
    Omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids
The human body not only needs the fatty acids to regenerate and renew cells. Omega fatty acids also play an important role in cell membranes and the cardiovascular system. CBD Oil offers Omega-3 and Omega-6 fatty acids in optimal proportions!
    Minerals and trace elements
Whether calcium, potassium, sodium, manganese or copper: CBD oil contains many important minerals and trace elements. CBD oil also offers zinc, phosphorus, iron and magnesium.
    vitamins
Vitamins are also found in CBD oil. For example, vitamin E, which has antioxidant properties, supports the body's own cells and can prevent diseases such as Alzheimer's. Or vitamin B1, which affects serotonin levels and can help with depression.
    Carotenoids and chlorophyll
Chlorophyll influences the cell respiration and purification of the body's own cells and influences the immune system. Carotenoids slow down skin aging and strengthen the cell membranes. In addition, carotenoids can affect the cardiovascular system and cholesterol levels and prevent arteriosclerosis.
    What does science say?
Although research on CBD is still in its infancy, there are already many studies on the mode of action of CBD. We have the most interesting studies at a glance:
    CBD and cancer
According to various studies, CBD can fight tumor cells. An English study published in 2018, for example, examined 110 cancer patients (breast cancer and glioblastoma) who used CBD as a treatment aid: in 92% of patients, CBD improved their health! Other studies have shown beneficial effects of CBD on the following cancers: blood cancer, lung cancer, liver cancer, oral cancer, prostate cancer and pancreatic cancer.
    CBD and Alzheimer's
The cannabinoids in CBD oil have neuroprotective properties. For example, one study found that CBD can prevent a neurodegenerative process - a process that plays a key role in diseases such as Alzheimer's or dementia. CBD also slows down the memory degeneration, according to an Israeli laboratory study with mice.
    CBD and epilepsy
Doctors in Israel treated 74 children and adolescents with CBD who had epilepsy. While conventional treatment did not help, CBD improved the health of the children and adolescents studied within 6 months. 89% of children suffered from fewer seizures after treatment with CBD. In 13 children, the seizures even reduced by 75 and 100 percent! Here is more information on CBD and epliepsia study.
    CBD and multiple sclerosis
A 2013 study showed that CBD can relieve physical pain, fatigue and spasticity - all common symptoms of MS.
    CBD and depression
A CBD study with rats found that CBD can increase motivation and cause the so-called "prohedonic effect". This effect plays an important role in fighting depression. Another study with mice showed that CBD has a similar mode of action as antidepressants - only without the dangerous side effects and without the threat of addiction.
By the way: this is just a small compilation. Other studies included the effects of CBD on Parkinson's, anxiety, psychotic symptoms, schizophrenia, nervousness and lack of empathy, eating disorders, sleep problems, nicotine cravings, diabetes, and more. In almost all studies, CBD positively affected the symptoms, ailments or diseases.
    Conclusion
CBD oil offers you many advantages. Due to its valuable ingredients, CBD has many benefits and can improve your quality of life in a variety of ways. You do not need to be afraid of side effects - if you have a chronic illness, you should discuss it with your doctor first. Even pregnant women should refrain from CBD!
