FAQs - Frequently asked questions about CBD
What is CBD?
CBD, also known as cannabidiol, is an active ingredient found in the cannabis plant. It is one of the numerous cannabinoids found in the hemp plant.
Where's CBD in?
The hemp plant (Cannabis Sativa L.) contains CBD. In total, cannabis contains over 80 different cannabinoids, some of which have hardly been researched. The best-known cannabinoids are CBD (cannabidiol) and THC (delta (9) -tetrahydrocannabinol). CBDa (cannabidiolic acid), CBN (cannabinol) and CBGa (cannabigerol) are also getting more and more attention.
Are CBD products legal?
CBD is a non-psychoactive substance and therefore does not fall under the Narcotics Act. In Austria as well as in the whole of the EU there is a THC limit of 0.2% which can legally occur in every hemp product. Textiles, food and thousands of other products are produced from this industrial hemp. Cannabidiol, also called CBD, is obtained through the CO2 extraction of the hemp plant (the variety of which is registered in the EU variety catalog).
All CBDNOL products are made from hand-picked, EU-certified industrial hemp flowers using various extraction processes. This guarantees a THC (tetrahydrocannabinol) content of less than 0.2%.
What happens if the police stop me?
All CBDNOL products have been tested and analyzed in the laboratory. Each of our products has a holographic numbered seal with an associated lab report that is available in-store and online. Our producer takes responsibility for the content, i.e. that the THC content is below the legally permitted 0.2%. Explain to the police what the products are and refer them to us.
If the seal is broken, we are not responsible for its content.
How long is the delivery time?
After receipt of payment, the goods will be dispatched on the same day or the next working day and will normally reach you within 1-2 working days within Austria. In countries within the EU it usually takes between 2-8 working days.
What does the packaging look like?
All your orders are carefully packed in a discreet, completely simple package and sent with the corresponding invoice.
Can you get “high” from CBD products?
No. It is not possible to get high on any of our CBD products as CBD is not a psychoactive substance.
Are CBDNOL products tested?
Yes. CBDNOL tests and monitors every product we offer. Every product is tested and analyzed for both cannabinoid ratio and microbiological adequacy. It does not contain parabens or any artificial colors or fragrances and is free from toxins and heavy metals.
When does the effect of CBD oil occur?
As with any CBD product, that depends on the body and the CBD dose. It can take anywhere from 10 minutes to two hours to complete until You can feel the effects of CBD! CBD works particularly quickly if you drip CBD oil directly onto the mucous membranes under the tongue.
What do CBD drops do?
If you drip CBD drops directly under your tongue, the mucous membranes absorb the CBD immediately. It gets into the bloodstream faster and the valuable cannabinoids can develop their effects more quickly. CBD drops basically work like any other CBD product by interacting with the so-called endocannabinoid system in the human body.
Is CBD bad for the liver?
According to the current state of knowledge, the question cannot be answered clearly. However, researchers at the University of Arkansas for Medical Science have found that CBD in mice may be as damaging to the liver as traditional pain relievers. Further studies are needed to confirm or refute these results.
Can CBD be detected in the urine test?
No! Cannabidiol cannot be detected in a urine test. Drug tests only look for THC - and the 0.2% THC content in legal CBD products is not enough for a drug test to work.
Which CBD oil is best?
There are many different suppliers and CBD oils in different concentrations. There is no such thing as the “best” CBD oil - it is important that you choose a CBD oil that suits your application. Make sure that you only buy from reputable suppliers who extract high-quality CBD oil from EU-certified hemp plants with CO2. CBD is about your health! Therefore, you should not save in the wrong place and never rely on cheap products.
Is CBD dangerous?
No. CBD is a natural plant substance and absolutely harmless to the body. You cannot become addicted to CBD, nor are there any dangerous side effects. By the way, CBD is considered a dietary supplement in Germany and in many other countries.
Are CBD drops legal?
Yes! Like all CBD products, CBD drops are legal as long as they are freely available in Germany or in the respective country. Over-the-counter CBD products in Germany may contain a maximum of 0.2 percent THC.
Does CBD have any side effects?
CBD has hardly any side effects worth mentioning. The following side effects may occur in rare cases: dry mouth, drowsiness, loss of appetite, diarrhea, low blood pressure. There are no serious side effects with CBD because it is a natural plant substance!
How quickly does CBD work?
CBD works differently in every body - because there are too many factors that influence how it works. For example, body weight and height, the dose administered, etc.
How often can you take CBD oil a day?
You can take CBD oil as often as you want. Overdosing is not possible! However, we generally recommend starting with a small dose. You can then watch how your body reacts to the CBD - and then gradually increase the dose until you notice the desired effect.
What happens if you take too much CBD oil?
Whether CBD flowers, CBD pollen, CBD oil or CBD cosmetics: An overdose of CBD is not possible. The human body can easily tolerate even extremely high doses of CBD. Studies have already scientifically proven this.
Can CBD trigger psychosis?
No. Although cannabis can trigger psychoses through the active ingredient THC, this is not possible with CBD products. Legal CBD products in Germany contain a maximum of 0.2% THC - this is not enough to feel any effects of the THC. Whether feeling intoxicated or psychosis!
What should I look out for with CBD cosmetics?
Look carefully at the ingredients. What's in it besides the CBD? Ideally, CBD cosmetics should only contain natural ingredients. A high purity of the CBD and a full spectrum extract is also important!

Our products are not intended to prevent, relieve or cure any disease. According to AGES and FDA, our products have no medicinal effects.
Dietary supplements and flavor products come in many forms, including oils, herbs, powders, energy bars, and liquids. These products are available in shops in Austria and Germany as well as on the Internet. They are labeled as dietary supplements, or as flavoring products which are not recommended for consumption and include, among other things, vitamin and mineral products, "botanical" or herbal products - these come in many forms and can include plant materials or a combination of these materials.
The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) as well as the AGES suggest that you consult with a doctor before using any flavored products or dietary supplements. Many supplements contain ingredients that have potent biological effects, and such products may not be well tolerated by all people.
Here are a few general tips:
Dietary supplements are not intended to treat, diagnose, cure, or alleviate the effects of any disease. You can't completely prevent disease like some vaccines can. However, some supplements are useful to reduce the risk of certain diseases and are entitled to make claims about these uses. For example, folic acid supplements may claim to reduce the risk of birth defects in the brain and spinal cord.
The incorrect use of dietary supplements can be harmful. Taking a combination of dietary supplements, using these products with medication, or replacing them instead of prescribed medication could lead to harmful, even life-threatening results.
Some supplements can have undesirable effects before, during, or after surgery. For example, bleeding is a potential risk side effect of garlic, ginkgo biloba, ginseng, and vitamin E. In addition, kava and valerian act as sedatives and can increase the effects of anesthetics and other drugs during surgery. Before the operation, you should inform your doctor about any dietary supplements you use.
