Why quality inspection is so important
The quality and purity of CBD can vary widely - because many factors determine the high quality of the end product. From the type of plant to the cultivation to the extraction method. Poor quality soil can lead to excessive levels of lead, pesticides, mercury, mold or carcinogens such as solvent residues in CBD products.
That is why we at CBDNOL carry out the strictest quality tests. Whether CBD flowers, CBD oil or CBD ointment: We have all of our products tested for quality, purity and composition of the cannabinoids in independent laboratories in Austria - so that our customers receive real premium quality.

EU certified crops
All of CBDNOL's plants are hand-picked and EU certified. We lay the foundations for the highest possible quality when selecting the plants. It goes without saying that all of our products are legal and freely available.
We rely on natural ingredients and sustainable production. Our EU-certified crops come from organic farming and our production process is secured in accordance with HACCP and ISO9001.
A combination of the most careful cultivation, state-of-the-art technology and gentle CO2 extraction process guarantees CBD products of the highest quality. It doesn't get any better than CBDNOL!
CBDNOL products are free of any pesticides, heavy metals or other harmful substances. We also do without genetically modified organisms and exposure to ionizing radiation.
High in CBD
Careful selection and natural breeding without pesticides enable a high CBD content. From the start, CBDNOL's hemp has a higher CBD content than conventional hemp from other suppliers.
What else do we test?
All CBDNOL products are tested for polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons. The prescribed limit values should be clearly undercut, otherwise the hydrocarbons can be carcinogenic.
We have our products tested for undesirable bacteria and fungi. This also includes pathogens and their resistances.

The plant cultivation of CBDNOL®
Whether CBD oil, CBD flowers or CBD cosmetics: At CBDNOL® we offer CBD products of the highest quality. We lay the foundations for this when we grow the hemp plants - and how to do this in 5 steps is explained below.
Step 1: the breeding
The hemp for our CBD oil comes from organic farming and is grown and grown in Austria and Switzerland by experienced farmers under the strictest conditions. We only use the best varieties from the EU-certified variety catalog with the highest possible CBD content. Of course, our plants also contain a maximum of 0.2% THC, which is why all CBD end products from CBDNOL are legal and freely available.
Step 2: growth & care
All cuttings for flower production are planted in separate pots so that they have enough space to take root, while the hemp plants for CBD oil production grow in organic mother earth. Each hemp plant is also watered separately and, if necessary, exposed to real solar radiation, so the hemp plants can thrive under optimal conditions. At CBDNOL, we refrain from using pesticides, fertilizers and other chemicals so that you get CBD with the highest purity and quality.
Tip: Hemp is a so-called bioaccumulator, which means that the hemp plant pulls toxins from the soil and absorbs them - for example, hemp was used in Chernobyl to clean the soil after the nuclear disaster. That is why it is important that the hemp plants in your CBD products grow on healthy and clean soil!
Step 3: the harvest
After about 3 months of growth, the hemp flowers shine in their full splendor, then we harvest the flower bulbs by hand and check their quality. We then only process the best flowers into CBD products! To do this, we first remove the flower bulbs from the leaf and stem material, then we remove each flower from its bulb by hand.
Step 4: the drying
After the harvest, the hemp flowers contain moisture and chlorophyll - in fact, about 80% of the flower mass consists of water immediately after the harvest. In the fourth step, we therefore let the flowers dry in a darkened indoor room. For the later CO2 extraction, the plant parts must be half dry.
By the way: Natural drying without heat is important because heat can destroy the valuable components and cannabinoids in hemp. The flowers take between five and seven days to dry.
Step 5: extraction
The CO2 extraction is the most expensive and complex CBD extraction method. It requires a larger budget, technical expertise and is clearly superior to the other methods, which is why almost all premium CBD providers use the CO2 extraction method. How does the procedure work? We'll look at that in the next section.
The CO2 extraction is based on a so-called closed-loop system. You put the raw plant material in the extraction chamber of an extraction machine, cool the carbon dioxide (CO2) in another chamber to about -56 ° C and increase the pressure to 5 bar, this creates a supercritical state of the CO2 - so it is both in a liquid as well as in a gaseous state, therefore this process is also called supercritical CO2 extraction.
The supercritical CO2 is then fed into the extraction chamber. The chamber fills with the gas and the CO2 dissolves the terpenes and cannabinoids from the plant material without damaging the valuable ingredients. The extracted substances then end up in a collecting container and the CO2 is returned to its original state by a condenser. So the CO2 is reusable. In the last step of the CO2 extraction, an oil (for example coconut or hemp oil) is added to the CBD extracts.

At the end we get an organic hemp natural extract with CBD / CBDa of the highest quality and with over 500 valuable ingredients.
